A Memphis native, Melvena has played an influential role in the city over the years. After graduating from Lemoyne-Owen for her bachelor's and The University of Memphis with her master's she began her real estate profession in 1975 as an affiliate broker with Anderson Realty part-time while also being an educator with Memphis City Schools. By 1987, she advanced further into her real-estate career launching her own firm and continuing to lead a path of success.  After retiring from teaching in 1999, she started a non-profit reentry transitional center for homeless women ex-offenders and their children.

Duane, a fellow Memphian, attended Middle Tennessee State University majoring in business administration and finance. He has been deeply involved in various communities including his own participating in donations, volunteer work, and being a mentor for the youth. Along with networking, hard work, and drive, being surrounded by real-estate agents provided a well-defined path for him that led to an abundance of opportunities. All of these factors combined influenced him at a young age to be involved with real estate giving him excellent knowledge of multiple areas and realizing what the market really has to offer.

Also a native of Memphis, Kimberly attended the University of Memphis majoring in Business Admin and Sociology. She carries intimate knowledge of the entire Tri-State market and the history of Memphis.
